Community and Digital Marketing Strategist Passionate About DEIA

Viet “Vee” VoPham (he/him) is a Richmond, VA-based professional with a passion for community building, digital marketing, and philanthropy. Originally from Virginia Beach, Vee discovered his love for digital media and communications while studying Media Studies at the University of Virginia, where he served as an Associate News Editor and Copy Editor for The Cavalier Daily.

After college, Vee contributed to social media efforts for various startups and tech companies in New York City before pivoting to mission-driven work. He has supported nonprofit organizations of all sizes, including South Arts, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, PAHO Foundation, and Candid (formerly Foundation Center and GuideStar), where he led digital marketing and audience engagement efforts.

Vee currently serves as the Digital Content and Social Platform Specialist at The Movement Cooperative (TMC), which supports progressive organizations with shared data, technology, and strategy. In this role, he leads content development and communication campaigns to engage a membership network of over 90 organizations and 1,400 affiliates.

Prior to TMC, Vee worked at Alight, where he managed stakeholder and donor activations, including producing the Alight Global Perspectives webinar series. He also previously served as the Community Specialist at Pantheon, a WebOps platform, where he led community programs like the Best in WebOps Awards and Community Champion of the Month.

Outside of work, Vee volunteers with LGBTQIA+ organizations, including Out in Tech, and helps manage a mutual aid group in Richmond. He loves traveling, spending time with his Corgi (Finn), and exploring local coffee shops, parks, and hidden gems. With a soft spot for cheese, coffee, and a good romantic comedy, Vee finds joy in life’s simple pleasures.
